It's Been an Icy Week!

Clean up after the storm...lots of fence repair. Our pine tree out front looks like a giant stick :-(
Got our power back this morning. Today we're going to take a total trip around the perimeter of the farm to assess damages. Then of course, we'll be doing repairs and getting hay and water to the cattle.

FYI.

Beef and Pork are sold by the share. A share is 25% of the animal. This way everyone gets an even share of what that animal produces.

We do not process the animals ourselves. Our animals are processed by professionals in sanitary facilities. Beef and Pork are processed in a standard cut.

BEEF- Standard Cut
Ground Beef-one lb. pkgs.
3/4 inch thick steaks, two per pkg.
Round Steak- plain, cubed or ground (your choice)
Average size roasts
Rib steaks, T-Bone, Porterhouse & Sirloin Steaks
Liver, heart, tongue, -optional
Stew meat & soup bones- optional

PORK- Standard Cut
Ground pork- one lb. pkgs.
Bacon- one lb. pkgs, thick cut.
Pork chops and steaks 3/4 inch thick, two per pkg.
Ham/Roasts - fresh (non-cooked)
Smoked meat: add $0.50/lb.
Hocks?

To have beef or pork processed to your specifications requires that you purchase 50% of the animal. Additional processing fees may apply.

Chicken, turkeys and ducks are processed whole and are frozen.
