A Wonderful Day.

 WOW! What a wonderful day we had on Sunday. Mother Nature cooperated with a nice sunny day and over 60 Hiday Farm supporters came out to pick pumpkins and take a hayride to see the cattle and farm. It was great sharing the farm with our friends.

By the way. We have asked the Eastern Market for a booth for this weekend. Hope to see you this Saturday. We will have Beef, Pork and Chicken with us.

End of the Season for CSA Shareholders.

I would like to thank you for supporting the Hiday Farm for the 2010 growing season. As usual, it was a delightful summer visiting with you at vegetable pick-ups and the farmer's markets. Vegetable CSA shareholders, this is the 15th and final pick-up for the season. I hope you enjoyed your weekly bag of goodies. Are you a shareholder at the Hiday Farm? If so, come pick your pumpkin on Saturday, Oct 10th from 2-4 PM. These orange orbs are ripe for the picking at the site you planted that little seedling in the spring. We look forward to seeing you!
